The NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series returns to action on Tuesday, for the first time since the season was suspended in March. The North Carolina Education Lottery 200 is set to get going at 8 p.m. ET on FS1, at Charlotte Motor Speedway. This is the first Truck Series race since Kyle Busch won the Strat 200 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on February 21st.
NASCAR is limiting qualifying in the early going of its restart across all series due to health and safety concerns. The Cup Series had qualifying runs for the Coca-Cola 600, but will revert to using those results for Wednesday’s Alsco Uniforms 500. Meanwhile, the Truck Series will follow the path of the Xfinity Series for setting up the starting grid.
The first ten positions for Tuesday’s Truck Series race was a random draw of the top ten teams in owner points. The same happened for spots 11-21, 22-32, and 33-40. The result is Ben Rhodes is in the pole position, with Tyler Ankrum joining him on the front row. They are followed by Tanner Gray and Matt Crafton.
